The women's camp out was a staggering good time, as predicted! We talked, laughed, built fires, ate, hiked in the woods, ate some more, and laughed even harder! Going to bed is always the challenge. With that many women in a cabin all laying on air mattresses on the floor, it is not exactly conducive to settling down and getting some sleep! Needless to say, I serenaded the group with my new acquisition from the Dollar Store, a bright yellow recorder! Julie played her ukulele upstairs. Fabulous! I really only know how to play Mary Had a Little Lamb, but I played it with heart and soul! (and over and over...)
Great to see everyone, but sad in that it will be another year before that particular combination of ladies will be seeing each other. I am glad I am able to see a few of them during the year!
All in all, a great weekend!

And pillow fights, right? Rowdy, lingerie pillow fights?
I hate to shatter the vision in your head about a bunch of women bouncing around in nighties swinging pillows...but -
Okay I won't. Yes! We had pillow fights both nights and after that we ran outside in our underwear and played soccer in the snow!
WOOOOOOO...40 year old women gone wild!! Now that would be a great infomercial for late night tv...
It sounds like a lovely campout. I too have a ukulele. My mom played fairly well and taught me. I am not very good, but if you want to sing along to "I've been working on the Railroad," well, just ask.
