Well....

Well, the dreaded "Day One" is behind me and I didn't burst into flames or anything! I am fighting the urge to get on the scale this morning, though. In the past, I would weigh myself each morning and I think that is a bad thing to do everyday. Weight can fluctuate from day to day and really have nothing to do with what you are losing. So, I hope I can keep myself off of it for a week at least. I should have Mark just throw it in his work truck and present to me as he sees fit.

I went to bed feeling hungry last night but I think I slept better for that! I ate a light supper around 6:00 and that I think I will keep doing that. Sort of scale back as the day goes on.

I bought a pedometer yesterday so that I can try and score 10,000 steps each day. I really don't think this will be an issue for me since I beat the treadmill almost everyday now. I will be interested to see how many steps that 30 minutes yields. One little fun find on that count - yesterday I leaned up against the kitchen counter and somehow leaned right on the little gadget and managed to reset all the steps I had logged yesterday afternoon. Wasn't a big deal since I just had it on to see how it worked! But I can imagine if I had done that on a normal day and had not looked at it - I would have been fairly annoyed by that!

Anyway! I think coffee is done. Day Two, HERE I COME!
