I have had Amaryllis' in the past but this is the first time I had 4 flowers on one stem! There is not a way to take the picture to get the other two, obviously, but they are there! Very cool! (Side note: This picture almost didn't take place. As I was walking the container over to the kitchen table I was holding it high enough, and it is tall enough, that I nearly stuck it in the ceiling fan spinning away on high! My spirit would have been completely broken, I tell ya! Whew!)
We had a family get together at my oldest brothers on my birthday, too! I actually had most of my family believing that I had turned 35! That is until my other sister- n- law showed up and did the math - making her husband (my brother) 7 years younger than she is. She was having no part of that! People are funny about age!
I really don't have an issue with being 39.
