1) If you mix decaffeinated coffee grounds and regular coffee grounds together, the person who drinks the caffeinated coffee will not be able to tell the difference, nor will the person who drinks the decaffeinated.
2) Does the outcome of a football game say more about the team that won or more about the team that lost?
3) I used to think I could not survive without the income from the job I worked at for 16 years. Two years later I am alive and doing very well. (This one inspired by Ruth's list).
4) I went to sleep last night and I felt great. This morning I feel like I have sprained my left wrist. I hope I have not challenged my inner psyche by writing about my lucid dreams. I feel like I was in an all night ping pong tournament.
5) We should hold a national funeral for the "accident". There are no accidents anymore. When something bad happens, people climb out of the woodwork with their blame tags looking for someone to pin them on. Some people just cannot cope with or process an honest accident.
6) This time of year it is hard to find something to do. We thought of a couple museums we should go walk through, but one of them had been flooded last year and was not even open. Later in the day, we found ourselves in a huge antique store in LaCrosse. As I strolled through the hundreds of thousands of old and really old items, it occurred to me this was just as good as a museum. It is a museum in its own right and you can even buy one of the exhibits if you really want to.
