I have now had a second lucid dream. There are people who try to teach themselves how to do this and while I probably would never do that - I have had 2 pretty cool lucid dreams without even trying.
A couple years ago, I had a dream that I was in a tornado. But I knew it was a dream, and I was telling the person with me, to "come and walk! this is a dream I promise you - we can't be hurt!" It was awesome. At one point in the dream, I wanted to fly (which is strangely a recurring dream of mine - but not lucid). So we flew and flew and a point arrived where I knew I was waking up and I was telling the person with me to hurry and fly because it was almost over.
Friday night I dreamed that I was at our class reunion! It was at Country View Golf Course [again] I think - or so it looked that way. There were dinosaurs running all about in kind of a Jurassic Park fashion and I was hiding behind this small hill with a person I don't think I knew. And then suddenly, I stand up and tell the guy with me that we are in a dream and we should run out and be free with the dinosaurs. Eventually, we are able to get on a couple of them and ride them like elephants. The person keeps asking me if we are going to be hurt and I keep assuring him I am taking good care of both of us - because this is my dream and we can do whatever we want!
This goes on for what seemed a very long time. My friend then asks how long it will all last and I tell him, "as long as I want it to last!" Then I ask him who we should conjer up - "Who would you most like to see or talk to in the entire world?" I don't recall the answer and then I start to smell coffee in the dream.
I tell my friend it is all about to end because I have to go and he is begging me to stay because he wants to talk to some people. Then - boom - I am awake and Mark is downstairs making coffee!
I wonder who I would have brought in to the dream next?! It is one of the freakiest experiences but very cool! The first one I never tried to control the dream, I went more with what was taking place. In this one though, I was creating stuff all over the place and totally commanding the experience! Interesting!

I love dreams like that and there aren't enough of them.
So, you failed to recall whether I was thin at the class reunion. Please say I was thin.
LOL You were painfully thin and sitting at the appetizer table with a bacon wrapped shrimp in one hand and devouring an olive canape in the other!
Fabulous.
WOW-I have never experienced a lucid dream...sounds awesome.
