Finally, I am getting a massage...

I am going to get my first massage later this afternoon. This is something I have wanted to do for a long time - but for some reason I have just not made it a priority and I just never make the call. Mark has been after to me to do it because I have a ridiculously "tight" neck and shoulders - it seems all the time. The place that came recommended to me is in Decorah and when I called I got a machine that says "we are in session, leave a message and we'll call you back". That was quite fine - please don't leave someone mid-massage to answer the phone! So, I start to explain what I want and then go to leave my cell number and get the first 3 digits out - then blank. What the heck is my cell phone number? I have NO idea in this very moment! So then, keep in mind I am on a recording - I start to just spew numbers out then, "Wait no - that's not it [nervous laugh] I am such an idiot right now - (another number) - no that's my old number (yeah I said that, too) um....huh - gosh I feel so dumb I don't know what that number is right now...um call me at home - yeah...." So I rattle off that number and painfully so - wishing I had the option to erase and try again. I finally hang up and end the suffering on both ends! Strangely enough, she called me back. I will have to ask her when I am there how dumb I sounded...

On a completely unrelated note! There is a gal that has come to read my blog, her name is Judi, and she has passed along an "award" of sorts to me! The purpose, as I understand it, is to pass this along to owners of other blogs you find inspiring, interesting or just fun to read. It is a way to sort of network and make new friends! Turns out Judi is quite the creative soul! She makes decorations, crafts, loves vintage and has a knack for remodeling and fixing up houses to resell - and that is probably just what she did today! So, thank you Judi!

LOL - I wish there was an erase button that the caller could use to delete embarrassing messages!
Twice I have forgotten my zip code when asked for it out of the blue.
